The single malt was distilled in July 1975 and aged for 29 years in a bourbon barrel. It was bottled in December 2004 at a natural cask strength of 49.2%. The result is a complex Campbeltown single malt with notes of tropical fruit. vanilla. salt and coconut balanced by herbal tea. blossom honey. mint and a touch of smoke. Only 120 individually numbered bottles of Springbank 29 Years Old Whisky Fair 1975 Cask #1897 were released.
