A-huh?! Have you ever tried a blend between American Whiskey and Scottish Whisky? We can’t promise it doesn’t taste like donkey, but we can promise you’ll have a unique whisk(e)y with this Stuart’s Scotch American Brand! This peculiar vintage bottle from the early 1970s contains a blend of Scotch and American whiskies. Stuart’s Scotch American Brand Whisky is a blend of the finest Scotch Whisky distilled in Scotland in Pot Stills from a fermented mash of malted barley ried over a peat fire according to time-honoured traditions, together with the finest light bodied American Whisky, to produce a highly palatable fine tasting whisky. The blend consists for 35% of three-year-old peated single malt whisky and 65% American whiskey stored three years in reused barrels, and is bottled at 86 proof. Stuart’s Scotch American Brand Whisky comes in a large quart bottle. The imperial quart is equal to one quarter of an imperial gallon, or exactly 1.1365225 liters. The bottle code states 73, meaning this whisky was very likely bottled in or shortly after 1973.
