In the past few decades, the art of whisky distillation has been spreading all around the world. The Australian island of Tasmania had a history of Prohibition that lasted until the 1990s, but in 1992 the Lark Distillery was founded and Sullivans Cove followed two years later. Sullivans Cove 15 Years Old Single Cask 2000 is a rare single cask release, hand crafted from Tasmanian barley and double distilled in a copper pot still. American oak cask #HH0328 was filled in June 2000, and bottled after 15 years in January 2016. Just 144 bottles of this unique single malt have been released.
