One of the most highly anticipated annual events in the whisky world are the Diageo Special Releases. Each year, the spirits giant releases a number of limited-edition single malts from its distilleries all over Scotland. The series was launched in 2001 following the success of United Distillers’ Rare Malts Selection. Talisker 25 Years Old Diageo Special Releases 2007 matured for a quarter century in refill sherry and bourbon casks, and is bottled at a natural cask strength of 58.1%. The whisky is big with layers of peat, fruits, sweet sherry and spice.
