Talisker 8 Years Old Diageo Special Releases 2021 is a powerful peat monster, inspired by the mythical Sea Fury that is said to protect the Talisker distillery and give the whisky its iconic briny character. The whisky matured for 8 years in heavily peated refill casks, and is bottled at a cask strength of 59.7%. The theme for the 2021 edition of the highly-anticipated annual Diageo Special Releases is Legends Untold. Every bottle is connected to a mythical creature and tells a legendary story about the distillery. The stunning labels and tubes are designed by renowned digital illustrator Ken Taylor. And as if that wasn’t cool enough already, each whisky’s story is brought to life with a unique augmented reality experience, accessible through a QR code on the bottle.
