When Teeling opened their doors in 2015, brothers Jack and Steve Teeling sat on a pile of 16,000 casks of Cooley whiskey. Jack Teeling ran the show at the Cooley distillery until Beam Suntory acquired the brand. Part of the deal was the new ownership of these high quality Irish whiskey casks. It’s thus no secret that it’s highly likely that this Teeling 24 Years Old Single Cask 8474 originates from Cooley. It was bottled exclusively for Dutch retailers in 2016. Cask #8474 previously held port. Only 150 bottles of this exceptionally well matured Irish single malt whiskey have been released.
