That Boutique-y Rye Company Rye Spirit Batch 1 is an 11-month-old rye spirit from Distillery 291 in Colorado. It was released in November 2018 by That Boutique-y Whisky Company (renamed That Boutique-y Rye Company for the occasion) for their Rye Series. The label, inspired by the 1920s film noir, shows the Halloween movie character Michael Myers – a reference to Distillery 291 founder Michael Myers (not the same person, as far as we’re aware). The other people are the artist Alfred Stiegliz, whose Gallery 291 in New York was the inspiration for the distillery’s name, and photographer Man Ray. Only 498 bottles of That Boutique-y Rye Company Rye Spirit Batch 1 have been released.
