There’s more than meets the eye with this Decepticon of a whisky! Despite its name, this is not a Wild Turkey Bourbon. In the starting in the 1960s up until their closure in the 1980s, a Spanish company decided to release a blended whisky using a similar name and logo as the famous bourbon brand. We’re not sure how they got away with it, but it sure is a… marketing trick. The whisky (or is it a whiskey…? Even the label is indecisive) has been sourced from Scotland and was blended and bottled by the small Spanish distillery Magisa. The company possibly produced whisky specifically for the Canary Islands. W. Turkey Whisky 5 Years Old is a peculiar relic of forgotten whisky history and a pretty neat collector’s item!
