This 2020 Waterford Rathclogh 1.1 USA Only Release – Single Farm Origin marks the distillery’s debut in the United States and is intended for the US market only, so collectors and curious fans: rejoice! Single Farm Origin: Rathclogh Edition 1.1 was distilled in June 2016 and bottled in August 2020 at 50% ABV. The barley used for this malt was grown by Richard Raftice on his farm in County Kilkenny. Ráthchloch (‘stone fort’) was a strategic point on the medieval road from Kilkenny to Waterford. It looks out over Raftice’s low-lying farmlands. For all the information you could possibly need about your bottle of whisky, you can fill in the bottle’s TÉIREOIR code on Waterford’s website. This will give you a complete overview of the whisky’s provenance, plus some cool facts about the farm’s history! 13.000 bottles of Waterford Rathclogh Edition 1.1. were released.
