Wild Turkey Kentucky Spirit has been around for ages. Fun fact: it was introduced as the second widely produced single barrel bourbon ever to counter the success of Blanton’s. In the early days it came in a turkey shaped decanter (it really does look prettier than it sounds, in fact, we like the old botte much better than this 1L big boy). The Wild Turkey Kentucky Spirit Single Barrel has been a bit of a hit and miss over the passed few years, but hoo boy, you can bet your sweet behind that you’ll have a good deal with this one. Coming from barrel 1096 that aged in the historical Tyrone’s rickhouse A (we only know this because of the great write-up by WT-connoisseur Rare Bird 101), this Turkey will be your best buy of the week.
