Hampden Distillery

The Hampden Estate was founded in 1753, making it one of Jamaica’s oldest distilleries. For 250 years it was a family-owned business, but after financial troubles in the early 2000s the government assumed ownership. They sold the company again in 2009 to Everglades Farms Ltd., who released the distillery’s first official bottling in 2018.
