Hampden Great House Distillery Edition 2020 is a Jamaican rum from the Hampden Estate. The blend consists for 80% of 2013 Hampden OWH and for 20% of 2017 Hampden DOK. The categories indicate the ester levels, which determine the rum’s aromas and flavors: OWH (40-80 g/hL AA) and DOK (1500-1600 g/hL AA). The rum was bottled in 2020 at 59%. It is the second Great House Distillery Edition bottling. Hampden’s Great House was built in 1779 and served as the distillery’s warehouse until the early 1900s. The picturesque building still exists today as part of the Hampden Estate.
